Brittany Woods is Licensed Associate Professional Counselor in the state of Georgia. She received her undergraduate degree in Psychology and Criminal Justice from Georgia Southern University in 2014 and Master of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Mercer University in 2020. Brittany has worked in a variety of clinical settings including inpatient and outpatient care. Brittany specializes in working with clients that struggle with disordered eating (Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder and Binge Eating Disorder), body image concerns, and co-occurring disorders. She is passionate about working alongside her clients to help them discover insight about the roots of their eating and body image concerns and guides them toward a healthier relationship with food and their bodies.
Brittany offers individual, couples and family therapy. She is certified as a Prepare and Enrich facilitator and has been trained in Family-Based Therapy. Her counseling style is eclectic with a focus on a attachment focused, humanistic and personcentered approaches. Brittany draws upon different modalities and theories to provide a therapeutic experience that best suits her clients’ needs and goals for therapy.
