Keira Oseroff, MSW, LCSW

Keira OseroffKeira Oseroff is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, specializing in the treatment of Eating Disorders including anorexia, bulimia, and compulsive overeating. She offers counseling services to individuals, couples, families and groups dealing with depression, anxiety and other mood disorders, as well as those struggling with their relationships.

Keira received her Bachelor of Science from The George Washington University and a Master of Social Work from the University of Georgia. She has worked with individuals and families struggling with disordered eating for more than 10 years, first as a Case Manager and Family Therapist for The Ridgeview Institute’s Women’s Center and then in private practice beginning in 2003. As a Co-Founder of the Body Matters Program, Keira has a passion for working with families confronting childhood feeding issues such as addressing power struggles related to the picky eater as well as confronting the issue of childhood obesity. Most recently, she began the process of certification (from the Training Institute for Child and Adolescent Medicine) to administer Family Based Therapy (also known as the Maudsley Method) for adolescents struggling with eating disorders.

She is a member of the Georgia Society for Clinical Social Work and Member of the Board of Directors for SOAR (Supporting Others Achieve Recovery, Inc.), a non-profit eating disorder recovery advocacy organization. In addition to her private practice, Keira is a frequent speaker within the community, offering workshops and presentations to both public and private groups and organizations including schools, medical professionals and corporations and houses of worship.
